Enjoy a barista-crafted coffee while examining several popular home-roasting methods, some using tools easily found in many homes. This roasting class is great for beginners, and you are welcome to ask questions on any aspect of coffee.

As you gather around an open roaster, your senses will come alive as you witness the mesmerizing transformation of green coffee beans into rich, aromatic browns. You'll gain a deeper understanding of the roasting process and its impact on flavor profiles. Next, your guide will explain how to use a handheld roaster over an open-flame stove.

Now you take charge as the coffee maestro by pre-heating your ceramic roaster, adding green beans, and applying a gentle motion while watching the progress of your roast develop to the level you desire. When your session ends you will leave as an accomplished coffee roaster with your personally roasted beans.

I can’t recommend this experience enough! Dan and Donna were exceptional hosts and made us feel so comfortable in their home. We also got a sneak peek at Dan’s set-up inside his house (which is awesome). Overall, the experience was super fun, relaxing, and informative. Definitely book this!

Dan and Donna were wonderful hosts, making the experience both fun and informative. Dan explained home-roasting methods using common tools, perfect for beginners. We used a handheld roaster over an open-flame stove. This hands-on part allowed me to try roasting myself. By the end, I felt accomplished, leaving with my own roasted beans and a bag of green beans to roast at home. This workshop is a great learning experience and would make an excellent gift.

This was one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve ever had. The location was gorgeous and welcoming. Dan & Donna were amazing hosts. Dan is incredibly knowledgeable and Donna is perfectly personable. I wish I could have spent more time roasting and chatting!

Dan was an incredible host and the venue was absolutely breathtaking. He was super engaging and knowledgeable. We ended up being the only couple there so we got the added benefit of feeling like the entire experience was completely tailored to us. We left completely inspired to start our own home roasting practice! Dan was kind enough to send us home with the beans we roasted ourselves and some other goodies to help us get started.
